IREB Scientific symposium, December 3, 2014, Paris

8th International workshop on anthocyanins in Montpellier from September 16th to 18th, 2015
The first International Workshop on Anthocyanins (IWA) meeting took place in Melbourne (Australia) back in 2000 with the goal of bringing together scientists from Universities, Institutes and Industries, from different research areas but with the common ground of working on anthocyanins. Two scientists of the WIC scientific advisory group participate in a symposium about nutritional aspects of moderate wine consumption
Prof. Nicolai Worm (Nutritionist) and Prof. Mladen Boban (Physician) - both actively participating in the Wine Information Council group of experts - came to speak at a symposium about Nutritional Aspects of moderate wine consumption organised during the conference “Ernährung 2014” or Nutrition 2014 which was held in Ludwigsburg on 26 June 2014. WineHealth 2013 conference proceedings are available online now
The conference proceedings from the WineHealth 2013 International Wine and Health Conference held last July in Australia has just been published. They are available online as a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Nutrition and Aging. This is an open access journal, so the papers in the proceedings are freely available. Topics covered include the impacts of wine consumption on cardiovascular disease, effects on mood, cognitive function and vascular health, a mini-review of proanthocyanidin metabolism and healthy ageing.

The international meeting on alcohol and global health
