A scientific advisory network with independent experts combining different scientific disciplines

The Wine Information Council is a unique partnership between various national organisations committed to the promotion of moderate and responsible wine consumption and independent, international, scientific experts devoted to evidence-based research on wine & health, and wine & social aspects.

The Wine Information Council portal is developed and updated under the supervision of a scientific advisory pool.

Scientists are compensated for their work and expenses when participating in conferences and events promoted by the Wine Information Council.

Prof. Mladen Boban was awarded his medical doctor and Ph.D. degree at the University of Zagreb, and did his postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA. He has been a head of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Split School of Medicine since 1997, and served as a dean and a vice-dean.
